Your account
Open Nastavení účtu to change your email or password, set your name and interface language, and turn on optional two-factor authentication with backup codes; switch the theme from the user menu.
Your personal settings live in the user menu — your name at the bottom of the left navigation. Open it and choose Account settings (Nastavení účtu) to reach the account page. The same menu also holds the appearance theme and the sign-out button. Everything here affects only your own account — not anyone else in your organization.
Account information
Under Account information (Informace o účtu) you’ll find the email address you sign in with — shown read-only as your login — and a Change password (Změnit heslo) control. To set a new password, select Change password, enter your current password, then the new one, and save.
Profile
Under Profile (Profil) you can set:
- Name (Jméno) — the name shown for you in the app.
- Language (Jazyk) — your interface language, such as Čeština, English, or Polski.
Two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication (Dvoufaktorové ověření, 2FA) is optional — turn it on with Set up (Nastavit) on the card. Once it’s on, signing in takes a second step after your password. During setup Edmund generates backup codes you can use to sign in if you can’t get a code from your authenticator.
Save your backup codes somewhere secure and offline — a password manager, not a sticky note on the panel. Anyone with a code can sign in as you.
Theme & sign out
The user menu holds two controls that sit outside the account page:
- Theme (Vzhled) — choose System (Systémový), Dark (Tmavý), or Light (Světlý). System follows your device setting.
- Sign out (Odhlásit se) — sign out of Edmund on this device.
