Suggestions

When you open a project’s chat, Edmund greets you and shows one or more Suggestions — ready-made prompts that appear as lightbulb chips. Click one instead of typing when you know something needs looking at but aren’t sure how to word it. For the full path from machine to a cited reply, see Your first answer.

Using a suggestion

1. Open the project’s chat. Active suggestions show as chips under the greeting, and the lightbulb button in the message bar lists them at any time.

2. Click the chip, or the suggestion’s name in the lightbulb menu. Its prepared prompt drops into your message box.

3. Send it as-is, or adjust the wording first. Edmund answers the same way as any question — from that project’s own knowledge, with sources shown. See Reading answers & citations.

What’s behind a suggestion

A suggestion has three parts, but you only ever see the first:

• Chat label — the text on the chip you click.
• Inserted prompt — the message that drops into the box.
• System instruction — a behind-the-scenes instruction that is not shown to you.

That last part is why a single click can do more than the short label suggests — narrowing a search, chaining steps, or shaping how Edmund replies. It’s set by an administrator, so a suggestion can be more capable than the words on the chip.

Suggestions are language-specific. Edmund shows the ones written for the language you’re working in — Czech, English or Polish — so the chips change if you switch language.

Where suggestions come from

An organization has a shared set of suggestions, and any project can override it with its own — up to 5 active at a time in each case. Only suggestions marked Aktivní appear in chat. Creating, translating and activating them is an administrator task, done under Organization settings → Suggestions (Návrhy) and, per project, in Project settings (Nastavení projektu).
