Dashboards & analytics

How to read Edmund's Overview dashboard after sign-in — the quick launch to chat, the sync and data-source status tiles, the knowledge-base charts and documents-by-category table — plus the admin-only Analytics view of message volume and per-user activity.

The Přehled (Overview) is the first page you see after signing in. It works as a launch pad: you can jump straight into a chat, and in one glance check whether the knowledge behind Edmund is current and how the team is using it.

The Overview dashboard: quick chat launch, status tiles and knowledge-base charts.

Start a chat

On the Chat with Edmund (Chat s Edmundem) tile, the Go to chat (Vstoupit do chatu) button takes you to the project picker. Choose a project and the chat opens, ready to work. For what happens next, see reading answers.

Status tiles

Three tiles tell you whether what Edmund knows is up to date:

  • Poslední synchronizace PLC — when the PLC programs last synced.
  • Nejnovější záznam — the most recent maintenance-journal record.
  • Stav zdrojů dat — whether the connected data sources are reachable, e.g. All active.

A sync that hasn’t run in a while, or a source that isn’t connected, is usually the first sign a feed has stopped.

Knowledge-base charts

Below the tiles, two charts show how the knowledge layer is built up: a donut breaks documents down by type and status, and a knowledge-base chart tracks the growth of documents, maintenance records and data sources over time.

Under them, a Dokumenty podle kategorií table shows how documents are split across categories. At the bottom, Nedávné konverzace and Denní aktivita konverzací show recent chats and daily usage.

Tip

Use the charts to spot gaps — a thin category, or a source that has stopped growing, tells you where knowledge is missing. Open documents to upload or fix files.

Analytics (administrators only)

Analytika lives under Organization settings and answers a different question: who is using Edmund, and how much. It is available to administrators only — see roles & permissions.

  1. Set a date range and pick the projects you want to measure. Everything below updates to match.

  2. The chart shows how many messages were sent on each day. Hover a bar to see which users wrote that day and how many messages each sent.

  3. The table below lists each user with their name, role and teams. Click a user to open their chat history for the selected period.

Use this while you are rolling Edmund out, to see whether a shift or a team has picked it up.

Analytics: message count over a period, filterable by project, with a per-user table.
