Feedback & contact

How to give feedback in Edmund: thumbs up / down on any answer (Ohodnoťte odpověď), and the Kontaktujte nás form for the whole platform — what to fill in, and why the chat URL helps.

Everyone Last reviewed July 2026

Edmund collects feedback in two places: on a single answer in chat, and on the whole platform. Sending either helps the team fix problems faster and see what’s working and what isn’t. If something looks wrong, this is where to say so.

Rate an answer

Every answer in chat ends with a thumbs up / thumbs down control (Ohodnoťte odpověď). Use it to mark whether the answer was useful or fell short — it takes a second.

Every answer ends with thumbs up / down to rate it.
  1. Thumbs up opens a short window to confirm the answer helped. You can leave it at that or add a brief comment.

  2. Thumbs down opens a form for the detail: what went wrong, what was missing, and what the right answer should have been. The more you write, the more the team has to work with.

Tip

A thumbs down is far more useful with a line of detail. “Wrong torque value” or “missing the newer revision” points the team straight at the problem.

Contact us

For feedback about the platform as a whole — not one specific answer — open Kontaktujte nás under Pomoc in the left nav.

The Contact us form: reason, subject and description.

The form asks you to:

  1. Pick a reason (Důvod) from the list.

  2. Add a subject (Předmět) — the topic, a bug in the environment, or another specific problem.

  3. Write a description with as much detail as you can. The clearer the problem, the faster it can be resolved.

  4. Send it with Send (Odeslat).

Tip

If the issue happened in a chat, paste the chat URL from your browser’s address bar into the description. It lets the team find the exact situation you’re describing.

When something is wrong

If an answer is wrong or the platform misbehaves, don’t work around it silently — rate that answer with a thumbs down, or use Kontaktujte nás for anything broader. Submitted feedback reaches the team immediately, so it can be acted on.

Warning

Giving feedback is available to the Administrátor, Uživatel Expert and Uživatel roles. The Čtenář (reader) role is view-only — it can open documents, PLC programs and journals but can’t use chat or give feedback — see Roles & permissions.
