How Edmund searches (agents)
How Edmund's search agents work: the status row that shows which source is being searched (for example Hledám v databázi), why a database answer is a table while a document, journal or PLC answer carries Source links, and how to steer a search with Suggestions.
Edmund doesn’t answer from general knowledge — it searches the real sources attached to the project you’re in: a connected database, the maintenance journals, the project’s documents, and its PLC programs. Each source is handled by a search agent, and you can watch one work.
Watch the status row
While an agent runs, a status row appears under your question naming the source it’s searching:

A document or PLC search shows a matching row for those sources. That row is your signal that Edmund is really searching a source, not answering from memory. Open it to see the exact query it ran.
What the search returns
The shape of the answer tells you which agent ran:
Database → a results table plus a short summary, pulled live from the connected data source. A database answer shows the data itself, so it has no per-row source links.
Documents, journals & PLC programs → a written answer where each claim carries a Zdroj / Source link back to the record it came from.

Steer a search with Suggestions
If your organization has Suggestions turned on, a saved suggestion can pre-load a common search — warehouse stock, fault history, a machine’s recent journal records. Its hidden system command tells Edmund what to look for, so a technician gets a grounded answer from one tap instead of phrasing the question from scratch.
Rate the answer
Every answer ends with thumbs up / thumbs down (Ohodnoťte odpověď). Rating takes a second and tells the team where search is working — and where a source is still missing. Where that feedback goes is covered in Feedback loop.
